Unpleasant experience in trying to exchange a gift 2012-05-15
I was gifted a dress for my daughter which was bought from the Palladium Mall - Zara store that has been referred.
As it was a gift the size unfortunately was small and I had come into the same store to exchange for a bigger size.
On the onset I was first directed from the kids section manager to speak to the head cashier.
When I went to the cashier, he first asked me for the bill. As it was a gift I didn't have the receipt. After 10 minutes of discussion the cashier said that if I can get a picture of the bill they can help. Fortunately was able to get a scanned copy of the same... read more -

cheating 2012-02-18
i was buying a tee shirt with a price tag on it but when i went to the counter was told it was more than the price tag. I asked to see the manager and the assistant tried to take the tag off. The manager came and also said it wasn't the right price and took the tag off.Anywhere else in the world the price on it is the price you pay. yet another form of cheating the customer in Mumbai,,,,,,,,,,,,,, enough siad -

I had recently been to the Zara Sale and have to admit it was nothing short of a nightmare. The lines are the trial rooms were long as anticipated but nothing can excuse the behaviour of their sales staff. The most self absorbed stafff I have come across. They do not have the concept of Customer Satisfaction at all. Zara puts up a sale but just does not care about the winding queues people have to stand in at check out counters. They have two check outs on the first level and three on the ground level together with inefficient staff leading to waits as long 45 mins. Its absurd. I think its time... read more -

Inspiration to loose weight :) 2011-10-03
The spanish chain failed to drive me crave for their dress.... the brand no doubt is a awesome brand..but i guess they underestimated India while stocking their products on..but after spending an hour trying the dresses i left the store with a boosted urge of loosing weight coz i could hardly find something that could look graceful on an average body type person...i feel Mango & FCUK has much better options for me...i only thing i think i can get for myself are the good scarfs... -

I regulary visit the Palladium Mall and have visited and purchased clothes from almost all brands, but this store is the most strange out of them. There are people who like the stuff and want to buy it but the staff there are not willing to help them. For e.g: If I ask them "Can I have a L size in this?" they would respond, "If you can't find it then we don't have it". Come on man? there are people in other stores that go inside the godown and find sizes for us. Even if somebody likes their stuff, they would think twice before buying it cause of the attitude by the sales person who just wear a... read more -

Talk about 'high handedness' 2011-02-24
Its not the first time I am experiencing this. Staying opposite High Street Phoenix, I am a regular butterfly in Palladium and the Zara store has managed to upset me every time I step in.
It starts in the changing rooms, where if you are with your better half, (s)he cannot give an opinion on the way you look in their clothes.
I was asked to step back, "three steps backward pls" near the mens changing room and my bf was asked the same in the ladies changing room.
I wasnt given the 'No. of clothes tag' and my bf was asked to get one making it sound like we were criminals.

Rude staff makes for a lousy experience 2011-02-24
I am a Zara fan... ever since I visited their stores and Spain and went nuts shopping for some fantastic clothes, I've been waiting for them to launch in India too. But on Feb 17, 2011 (happened to also be my 2nd wedding anniversary), when my husband wanted to take me shopping, I was sadly disappointed. On a day when I hoped nothing would sully our moods, the Zara staff ensured they did.
Some of the stuff on sale was very cute and I went to the trial rooms to try them on. I didn't want to step out of the changing room (trying on a tshirt on top of a churidhar didn't make for great public... read more -

I've been here thrice. the collection is DULL & BORING. The staff seems to have communication problems, they DO NOT HELP. i asked him where can i find knee length shirts, he seemed uninterested & told me you'll find some over "that wall right there" i mean this is not how you treat customers! he wasn't even busy. so please keep FRIENDLY STAFF & better collection which would be worth paying for. -
