A perefect night at Zenzi 2011-10-02
So are you in mood to get cooler maybe afer long day of work or a great Massage from nearby Spas, i guess this is the place. On Sat night, its fullon rocking !!! The music perfect and ambience is good !!! You can meet and have chat with Firangs (No need to go to Colaba) or can go into Lounce and try some steps on Latest Rock beat . Most signigicant is the food !!! you can have chinabox of Toufu or Chiicken with Noodles or Rice (a bit expensive though) but yes the experience is Paisa Vasool !!! -

Simpy awful 2011-08-05
Have been to Zenzi when it was the 'it' place..... and went again 2 weeks ago.
Simply awful - the outside seciton is gone, the inside is musty. Indifferent music, almost no waiter in sight and half the things in the menu dont exist (in Zensi, that is).

Poor and pretentious 2011-03-14
In the last two years, Zenzi has serious competition from a lot of new bars so reopening with more like the same doesn't really hit the mark.

Good? Naah! Horrible?? Yea!! 2011-01-14
Went there on Jan-1st-2011 with a couple of my buddies and to my horror this happened:
The place was infested with MOSQUITOES!!
And NO LIVE MUSIC!
Drinks (Quality): 1 Tequila (2/5), 1 Virgin Mary (2/5) and 1 Virgin Mojito (1/5)
Service: 2/5
Price: HUGELY over-priced for quality and quantity
Food (Taste rank): Some random Paneer Tikka starter (yewww) and Chicken stuff (3/5)
Ambiance: Nothing great!
My recommendation: Go there if you want to just bust some bucks and care for no taste and quality.

GET THE CHICKEN THINGIES 2010-05-02
seriously.
i ate there, once, two years ago, and i was so disappointed. the food was nowhere NEAR as good as the "fine dining" claim, but the prices (4000 for 3 people, drinks and main course) certainly were.
but then i was there last week and i ate there and holy shit this chicken something in something anyway it comes in small pieces of chicken with this dipping sauce and yeah. it's fantastic.
also, i found out tuesday nights are hip hop nights. this is something i used to know, and then forgot.

Zenzi blah 2010-03-14
Oh no! Imagine our horror after a less-than-welcome start to the evening's events at Escobar that we landed up here afterwards! It was like stepping into a morgue.
Only half the place was operational. The half which was functioning was dark and warm, which would have been perfect for mushrooms.
We ordered some drinks, and admired the over-flowing ashtray whilst we waited for the sad bartender to return. The drinks were sans any decoration. Not even a straw.
No wow-factor here. And at Rs 500 per glass with tax, I want a little "wow". Overall, we couldn't get out -

A complete waste of Time and Money 2009-11-26
So was meeting up with a few college friends after a long time and thought we'll head here for a few drinks. 1st of all, most of the tables had a reserved sign on them and the mangement there was just been very pricy is giving people who were waiting any kinda attention. Finally after getting a place to sit, and odering our drinks, (Odered a cocktail) and it sucked to say the least. The whisky sour was awful. And it was totally not worth the money. Better places in the area and this could easily be avoided -

Shocked by their Sick Attitude !!! 2009-09-11
Last month we visited Zenzi for few drinks & dinner with our friends in total we were five adults .This was my first visit to this place. We placed our order, which came in late ??? cocktails were good; however much to my disappointment the food was not appetizing ..... Pitiable !!!!!
I raised my concern with one of the workforce ( that's what I should call them, they are not service staff ) but to my dismay the workforce also has Sick Attitude ( we could see them communicating amongst themselves ridiculing our feedback ) Boss of this workforce did apologise but It was more of a favour... read more -

Ridiculous !! (And no more Chinese Boxes btw) 2009-08-30
I walked in to be amazed by their relaxeing seating arrangement and vibe in the outdoor section. Then it all went downhill.
No AC (or even a decent fan), disgusting food, unbelievable prices for said disgusting food, and completely indifferent service.
We settled our bill as soon as possible and headed to OOTB.
PS: Just a warning for former Zenzi fans who haven't been here in a while. It was my first time, but all my friends who have been here previously were really looking forward to the "chinese box", which btw is not available any more, and their menu has apparently changed -

Sooo snobbish!! 2009-08-18
Make sure you are wearing the most revealing outfit in your wardrobe and the longest heel in your shoe rack to enter this place which is full of snob firangs and even snobbier staff..
Everything is so over priced.. although i cannot deny that they place good music.. -
