My Favorite....!!

Copper Chimney restaurant in worli is good punjabi restaurant. Its ambience is ok but reasonably big. Prices are reasonable and food quality is satisfying. Always it is full and sometimes we have to wait for half n hour or one hour. Paneer and other punjabi vegetable are good specially paneer tikka masala and Biryani is to relish on Gulab jamun was ok seemed canned, kulfi was nice Otherwise a nice place for good food with family.

One Of The Best Indian food..........

We tried veg food and it was excellent. This place is perfect for special occasions and for Indian food lovers. All the items we ordered had an excellent taste with good quantity. Also the ambiance is very nice. The atmosphere, aroma of food, taste, tenderness and quality are awesome. High quality spices in all ingredients makes a perfect choice of rich Indian food. Gives you the pleasure of enjoying the food with luxury.
Suggested dishes: Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Maharaja, Banarasi Pulao and all desserts are great.

Good food,could be better

Been here quite a few times and every time service falls a tad below expectation. Food always comes late, starters always come along with main course or way too early before the main course. But food is good, though portions could be better and there could be more flavors. Love the roomali roti and achari mushroom here, biryani is okay and desserts are nothing great. leaves one feeling a bit let down in the end since it is quite expensive, but ambiance is very nice and perfect for family.

Average to good north indian

I have had a lot of buffet lunches at copper chimney worli however i would rate it just about good.

For the reputation it posesses the ambience is strictly ok.The tables are very cramped and the salad table in the centre isnt very comforting.Copper chimneys buffet spread looks more out of a north indian wedding spread which has been ravaged by some 20 diners already. The presentation is good to start with but they do not refill properly and the frequency of refil of the breads is abysmally low.

The biggest let down for me is the Dal makhani. For its reputation copper chimneys dal is very pedestrian. The paneer dishes are good and as they should be , but they are superbly oily and very heavy. If they say that their dal is simmered overnight i seriously doubt their definition of Dal or their duration of night.

The overall feeling after the buffet is not of satisfaction but of bloating which should not be the case.I would rate copper chimney equal to jewel of india in terms of its buffet only difference being copper chimney does not use "averaged" out gravy.

I am convinced that the ala carte food at copper chimney would be better. However the true test for a joint of this repute is to replicate the small portion to the larger size with minimal dilution of taste.
Overall copper chimnet , worli is good but not exceptional.....you will come out with a feeling that you have had the same taste somewhere before.

Best Indian Restaurant

I have been going here since I was a kid. Cant get enough of this place its my preferred restaurant for Indian food which is simply delicious. The roomali roti is the best in mumbai. The gravy's are very nice towards d sweeter side but still yumm. One should try the Chello rice (Sweetened rice with cream) goes very well with the Veg Shaslik. However, the same is not on the menu now. But they give you if you ask them to.

First time at the Copper Chimney

It was pure chance that my American boss decided to show up for a project and was in Mumbai for a week. Being his first visit to India, he wanted to try authentic Indian food and I couldn't think of a better place than the Copper Chimney! We showed up for dinner at around 9ish and dove straight into the menu ordering a Rann and some kebabs. The food did take some time but the wait was totally worth it! After about an hour of hogging on the amazing starters and the main course, we decided to have the dessert too (which was totally a good idea!) Absolutely a good experience for a food junkie and a great place to get a real taste of India!

Great Family Dining

Copper Chimney has been very prominent since years for its great food and good service. Having visited this place for and number of times have never had a chance to complaint about the quality of food ever. The Sunday Brunches are the most enjoyable with a great variety leaving you full but still wanting more.

If you want to rely on good food and a nice pleasant atmosphere this is the place to be. The veg and non veg delicacies are as good as they can be. Be it the chicken or paneer. No one beats copper chimney when you want a restaurant which can be relied upon

best north indian food in mumbai

I have been to their other branches , tried lots of tandoori chicken in other restauraunts but feel this is the closest I can get to the good quality tandoori available in Delhi .The tandoori chicken melts in the mouth , it has no red colour (most of the restaurants put some strange red colour in the tandoori chicken which I hate). The butter chicken and garlic naan are a must haves...

Vintage

I call it vintage because this is one of the restaurants I have grown up looking at as its very close by from where I stay. Today Copper Chimney has emerged as a brand name by having multiple outlets in malls. But this outlet in Worli is really a Family Place. You'll Always big or small family groups enjoying their meal. The space is big and very well made off and maintained for all these years. Each and every item in the menu tastes superb. One can never get bored by going here again & again. An advise for anyone planning to visit this place is that "book your table in advance" even if you are going on a weekday. As it is so full always. And also they follow two shifts reservation for dinner i.e. from 8 pm to 10 pm and the other is 10 pm onwards.

Lunch Buffet only!

Copper Chimney at Worli has the best Indian lunch buffet - by a mile. You just cannot go wrong at this place (well, maybe except for the reservation process). The lavish spread is ALWAYS top notch, especially on Sundays. The live chat counters, the salad bar, the kebabs, the biryani, the main course are all brilliant and better than any 5 star hotel offering. The desserts are the best part and we always leave content. For the price, this place is a wonderful deal, which is why this place is ALWAYS FULL.

Good Indian Food

A favorite as a child, I ate at Copper Chimney after nearly 12 years and still loved it. We went on a Sunday at 8 pm and the place was packed. Definitely recommend reserving a table. The mutton sheekh kebab was simply superb. Also recommend the achari tikka and the chello kebab. Its good to see a restaurant maintain its quality of food and service for such a long time.

great punjabi food

I have been to the Coppoer Chhimmney at Worli several times as our office was just opposite the place and we did not have an elaborate cafeteria. so any visitor and the quickest place to go was Copper Cnimmney. i have eaten both at their buffet and a la carte also. their crisp roomali roti was a novelty (though now available at several places) and you will see it on most tables. food is generally good and it fills a niche between the fine dining places and ordinary eating places

Copper Chimney

Food Originally, I wasn't expecting to order a buffet. During the waiting time, I took a look at the food. The menu wasn't that well organized, and there wasn't many Jain Vegetarian options. We took a look at the buffet, and in the vegetarian section, only some of it was Jain. They were willing to make changes and give us the Jain subji for the buffet price. Their Chaat was excellent, so if you do go there be sure to try it. The desserts were nice. The food was nice but I think less paneer dishes would have been better. Service I recommend, on weekends, to make reservations before you go. The waiting is tremendous. My experience? We waited for around 30 minutes. The restaurant was full as well as the waiting space. The person working there told us there was a 5 minute wait. I was not pleased when our waiting time exceeded 10 minutes. When we went to complain, they just said, "Sorry, sir". Not the best service. When we were sitting at our table (finally!), no one came to attend us. We said excuse me several times, no one comes. We had to raise our hands in the air and wave them several times before anyone came. Not the best place for Service. Ambiance Nice place, no complains there. Except one. The TV had bad signal. No biggie. Price When I came to Copper Chimney a couple years ago, buffet was cheaper. Now it is around 750 rupees. Okay price. Not the best, again. I would recommend this place for the lovely food. Happy Eating!

the USP of this place is the best north indian dishes served as it is in taste since years...another unique thing about this place is the open kitchen...the tandoor and the sanjha chulah which are visible and can see the cooks producing the best food for our taste buds...the paneer dishes are a real treat...melts and now my mouth is watering tooo...the chicken here is also very tenderly cooked...a complete eating experience...the hospitality commendable...this 1 at worli is the oldest branch of copper chimney and the best one.
