Excellent Italian cuisine

Authentic Italian food served in great ambiance is the USP of this place. Expensive but worth it when it comes to quality of food. Cesar salad, Verdure pizza, Spinach pizza, Pasta in red sauce as well as white sauce, as well as some amazing cheesecake for dessert, altogether create the perfect Italian meal and experience! It is also a quite place and I think a date could very well be had by two Italian cuisine lovers here. Service is attentive.

Homestyle italian meal

It's a small restaurant but is very cozy and good. The decor and the lighting are pleasant and soothing. Food menu is elaborate and is tasty italian food We ordered the regular. Soup. Pasta, Pizza, Beer and Cheesecake.. The flavors are for real and tastes authentic just like any italian homecooked meal. Loved the jars in which they serve their drinks. all these small things add to the experience.

Italian touch

This place has that typical Italian flavor both in the food as well as the setting. The ambience was lovely. May seem too dark at first, but once you are there for some time, you'll feel comfortable and relaxed. Ricotta with sundried pesto sauce and pizza margherita are their best serve dishes. The pastas are a must-try, beautifully cooked in olive oil. The service was excellent. The servers were very attentive and had a smile in their faces all the time.

Italian delight

Right next door to Cafe Mangii. Both give each other a run for their money. This is the upstart though. Love the idea of their old Italian home interiors. Attracts a really upmarket crowd on weekends. Their cheesecake is to die for. Make sure you book one at the start of your meal itself so it's there at the end.

Wonderful ...

It’s funny how the same chain of restaurant offer food so different… Mia Cucina, Powai is one example that has broken the no so great cooking tradition of its versova and bandra outlets. This one is simple amazing and beats the neighboring Italian restaurants hands down. The chef is definitely the best they have and I so hope they don’t shift him. What I love best about them is their willingness to customize, the besil Pesto Sauce Gnocchi is one example. I go there only to have this version and I urge you to order this if you like Gnocchi that is. Risotto and pastas are excellent and I am yet to have a bad experience in anything here. The staff is friendly and you may need to wait in the bar area since seats are few.

Love this place!

Mia Cucina has been open for just over a month in Powai and I already love the place so much! The ambiance is lovely and the staff are warm and welcoming. The food is absolutely yummy! What I love is that they have sufficient variety for vegetarians as well.

PS: The bruchetta caponata and the potato gnocchi with sundried tomatoes are absolutely to die for! Do give them a try!

even better than its bandra cousin.

Visited the Powai outlet today. Its much biiger than its bandra cousin so even better. Lovely ambiance with walls full of antique glass jars, high tables, bar surrounded by high chairs. Played lovely music... totally suited to an afternoon lunch mood. The food as even better. Ordered a baked crusted king prawn for the starter. Even the main course of skewed lamb and fish ravioli in sundried tomato sause was well made. The lamb was soft and succulent while the fish filled ravioli was freshly made. Very impressive... shall visit again but this time for a few drinks during the evening. they have a very good wine by the glass list too.
