Awful
we have an office in BKC and we used to order from Lucky every alternate Friday as all the guys in Office loved Biryani.
In the past few weeks we have been noticing that the the masala in the Biryani is reducing in qty. when we asked whay so, we got a very rude reply from the guy on the couonter.
A suggestion was made to pay for extra masala.
But if we had to pay fro the masala and also Biryani separatley then might as well order biryani from somewhere else.
So my opinion about Lucky in bandra had crashed drastically after this repeated hapenning.

Good
This place is owned by Dhanashree Caterers, one of the best caterers in this side of the city.
They fed the 500 odd guests in my wedding and so you cna take my word for it.
This small nice restaurant in Vile Parle East is the jewel in the crown of Good Old parle. marathi food not aits best but defintely worth for people who cant cook these dishes at home.
Maharashtrians along with all non marathi people flock here to taste the misal pau, saudana vada, Kothimbir vadi, matar usal.
You feel like eating at your friends home as the people serve you with affection.
Try it out once and I am sure you will go back again.
As such there aren't many marathi eateries now, so I hope thisone will win space in every marathi food lovers hearts and continue serving us mouth watering marathi delicacies.

Good
Its a very Busy and crowded place.
You can almost get the feeling of ebing in some palce out of India. Other than a few indians tryign to act and dress like foreigners, most of the people around here are actually visitors.. from abroad..
The last time I was there in April, a old American couple was very much impressed with my 20 month old daughter and clicked a lot of snaps as she ate the chips and guzzled the milk shake on her own.
Not a lot of space to sit aorund, but once you get a table, you can alomost spend hours here watching different people, with different attire and vivid colour sense.
A good place to hang out. when you are in that part of the town..

Good
I have been to this much frequented place twice in the last 3 weeks and both the times i tried the Tiger Prawns.
The price is as per catch and can be in the range of 300 to 500 per piece as per the size. Order them to be Tandoor roasted and they come out on the table ina nice golden brown colour. The marinated spcies rubbed genrously on the prawns has already seeped in to the prawn and each bite is a bliss.
Sol kadhi is as good as home made. Fish is the only item I recommend here. If you are ganged up with a meat lover then offer him soem chicken, but I am sure he has eaten better chicken or Mutton in many other places. So heas to content with only filling up his stomach while you all will die for the coastal ffod to be offered.
Service is good. And if you know the Manager there (Like I do) then getting a nice place will be easy.
So next time you crave for a Prawn or some good pomphret, head to Gajalee.

Good
The Food is Simple, but the taste is good and they serve you with a smile. It feels like visiting your friend's place. It had not a lot of food to offer. There are the basics like Dosa, Idli and other items on the list. The best snack to start with is the Mutter Samosas. They are too good. The Misal is quite spicy and mouth watering. A friend tired the Aloo Paratha as she could not associate herself with anything else there and we all eventually ended up eating most of it from her plate.
Its a small place but good to sit outside and enjoy the busy street leading to Shivaji Park.
A good meal with 2-3 dishes and some thing to drink, especially the Chaas will cost you around 70 to 80 per person.
A Nice palce to stop by and satisfy your hunger.
