Royal Plaza, New Link Road, Next to Citi Mall, Andheri (W), Mumbai

Good

Packed every night!

Wow. This place is seriously full-house every night! Andheri needed this.

China Gate which also has branches in Bandra and Worli Atria Mall, is doing quite well. The setting is elegant Chinese, with Chinese sculptures, vases, and that typical fancy Chinese rosewood chairs. The food is good, but not better than either the Bandra or the Worli outlets. The part that I was most disappointed with was that the chicken was not cleaned properly of tendons. Thai chicken skewers as a starter are good. The coriander pot noodles are fantastic and full of fresh vegetables.

All in all, the place has good food, but is just a notch below it's counterparts.

Phoenix Mills, Garden Court Block 16, Opp. Quorum, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai

Average

Decent crowd - just too many of 'em!

Crowd was decent (don't mistake that for great) and there were actually more girls there than guys (this is a relief for us women). The big issue here: the school bus structure of the club makes it impossibly crowded. The bar also thinks they are in Manhattan charging very hefty rates for normal drinks. Not a bad place to visit if your plan is to party in Phoenix Mills, but there are certainly better options in this city.

3/A, Crystal Plaza, Near Fame Adlabs, New Link Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai

Awful

Pathetic...

I went here with my girls on a Saturday night thinking that we should give this place a chance since the pictures on burrp! looked good. We had a couple of friends that were already inside when we arrived at 11:30 PM telling us that there were about 10 people inside. We thought, well, we're amongst good company, the bar won't be packed and we'll have a good time. Surely they can't charge cover for an empty night. Wrong! They wanted 1000 bucks from each of us even though we were all girls. We told them to buzz off and walked across the street to Myst to have some drinks. 10 people on a Saturday night, no desire to get more females in the club for free, what more can I say?

Inorbit Mall, Level 2 Food Court, Malad (W), Mumbai

Good

Safe, tasty experience

To put it simply, Noodle Bar is a clean, safe and tasty option when dining out. Nothing spectacular about it, but it is consistent in quality and taste. I usually opt for the Soba noodles in broth. The InOrbit location is the only one I have tried, so cannot speak for the others.

20, Mumbai Samachar Marg, Opposite State Bank of India, Nr. Mumbai Stock Exchange, Fort, Mumbai

Awful

Just plain horrible

This nightclub in the historic MSE area is a total nightmare. Went on a Saturday night, heard to much Reshammiya until my ears bled; two hip hop songs; and the oddest mix of crowd - wannabes + govindas + phirangee hippees from Goa. C'mon, gimme a break. Where does a girl have to go to have some casual clean fun? Would rate this a zero if possible.
