Good
I went to Da Vinci just the other day with a friend of mine. What impressed me the most was the modern interiors done with a wooden touch.
The restaurant was fairly crowded for a weekday afternoon but we got a cozy corner to ourselves.
We ordered:
1 focaccia
1 portion jalepeno and cheese poppers
1 magherita pizza
1 canneloni
1 Virgin colada
1 mango delight
The Jalepeno and cheese poppers was mindblowing. Although, my friend did not enjoy the foccacia too much, i loved the bread as it was quite soft.
The canneloni was a good topped with lots of cheese and the pizza was perfect- crispy crust.
Virgin colada was also good. Mango delight was nothing extra-ordinary.
I was very disappointed when they told me that the tiramisu was over. Being an Italian restaurant they should have enough of it to last through the day. After all, an italian meal is incomplete without its famous tiramisu
Service was really quick and the waiters were friendly.
Not too heavily priced- we ended up paying Rs. 900/-

Good
The already established sizzler's food chain has its new branch in Malad now.
I had the opportunity to go there today with a cousin of mine who lives abroad but is vacationing in India. The first thing that comes to the mind when you think of sizzler's is Yoko's because it serves unarguably the best sizzler's in town.
The new outlet definitely matches the standards of the other Yoko's outlets.
being a weekend I did not hope to get a place to sit for at least an hour. We had called up an hour in advance and the staff was very accommodating although they don't accept over the phone reservations over weekends. When we reached there we were made to wait for just about 10 mins.
The sizzler was delicious. we had called in for a veg sizzler with mushroom and cheese and a mini pizza( side order)
The only reason i wouldn't give this place a 5/5 is because I am not to happy with the variety Yoko's offers. Apart from sizzler's one doesn't have much option especially when you cannot call in for 2 sizzler's amongst 2 people
Anyhow, overall a good place :)

Average
I go to this place often as it is a favorite hang-out joint of any college student.
The 2 things i love the most here is the The Dutch Truffle cake shake and Chocolate avalanche (I am a big chocolate lover)
Next time you go there, you must call in for either of these ..
I've also had the cottage cheese Panini which was decent and the fried potato chips with your choice of sauce ( curry/cheese) .. i forgot what its called but its really yummmmmyyyy :)
Hukkah is average- have had better hukkahs at other places
All in all, a place to go for tp.. ;)

Good
I visited this place a couple of weeks ago with a friend of mine who came down from the USA. Since he's a vegetarian he never had the opportunity of having good veg Mexican food in the USA.
When we entered we were shocked to see the restaurant completely empty. But it could possibly be because of the timing- we went there for lunch on a weekday.
The restaurant sported a very American look.
What we ordered:
vegetarian Mexican stack
veg chimichanga
1 diet coke
Total Bill : 1300 for 2
Both the dishes were delicious. The chimichanga was served with Salad and sour cream( the sour cream didn't look too good, so i skipped it)
The food was VERY heavy and surprisingly we could not finish what we called for. Portions are huge.
Undeniably, an expensive restaurant - not ideal for college students
I'd go there again only because i haven't had better Mexican food elsewhere in Mumbai

Excellent
I went to Banyan tree with a couple of my friends today who keep raving about this restaurant all the time..
Firstly, as i entered i liked the feel of a cosy, quiet cafe away from the main street.. The place was well lit with decoration lights..
As my friends knew what they had to order, we did not scan through the menu much.
Although, this place serves italian, thai and chinese, we stuck to italian food.
What we ordered:
Spaghetti in spice arabiatta sauce with prawns
Risotto in some moroccon sauce (Recommended to us by the waiter)
Penne In Spicy arabiatta sauce- chicken ( My friend's love the sauce)
Penne in creamy sun dried tomato
Blueberry cheesecake
Chocolate Ecstasy
Total Bill : 1200 ( for 4 people)
Food was overall good.. not really authentic but not indianized either. The blueberry cheesecake was a little tangy- apparently thats not how it usually is.
The service was excellent. very friendly staff...
I'm definitely going there again..
