Good
Walked into this place at 9pm on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised to find a table inside.
Sad part is no alcohol is served here. But the mocktails adequately made up for the initial let down. Also must try the Lemon grass Chicken soup. Mildly spiced with a great flavour.
The recommended chicken dish is the Garlic and chicken Scarmoza. Just mindblowing! The service was very slow, and one has to wait for over 5 min to even get an extra plate. Our dinner took almost 2 hours. The Chargrilled Raws is also a great dish, and so is the stir fried Veggies with Couscous. The moroccon Chicken was a red curry with no specific taste and was a bit of a let down esp when it came after all the delicious food.
However the desserts literally took the Cake. The Blueberry Cheesecake as well as the Strawberry cheesecake was rocking. The Chocolate Mousse a little extra bitter and the Mudpie way too sweet are still worth the price.
On the whole, A definitely recommended place if you have the time

Was quite a regular here, but sadly when i went back in Jan 2008, I was told that Pedros has been shut down. Anyone who knows if they've reopened elsewhere pls post.
Great combos available at this place. Lots of free food everytime you ordered a drink

Good
Walked into this place China Ming which is on the second level of a mall called The Hub.
Decor- Nothing much to speak about - very standard Red walls with oriental designs. Seats at the window let you watch the traffic on the Highway.
Drinks - Since we wwere there for lunch, our order included the Haywards black and a Ginger lime soda. The Haywards black is a great stout beer with a unique taste. As for the ginger lime soda, it was fairly good except for the addition of grated ginger which tends to clog up the straw.
We skipped the starters and went directly for the Main Course, as we were running late. Our choices being a Roast Lamb( we asked that it have a bit of gravy), Empress Choice (stir fried exotic veggies) and Bamboo Rice.
Must say, though we did have to wait for over 25 min before our food turned up, all three dishes were above expectations. The quality of ingrediants used in them was very good.
They have a good choice of asian food including Miso Soup(Japanese), Indonasian Rice, Thai curries, etc and I definitely plan to return to check it out again.

Poor
Was the second time I visited Sheesha, and the first thing you always notice is how most tables are filled with teenage boy groups sitting there solely to smoke up on the choice of Hookahs. Being on the rooftop is an advantage, esp during this season, where you are constantly surprised by the amazing number of Rocket fireworks that light up the sky. Equally amazing is the seating options available from indoor, to cement sofas with comfortable cushions and wooden chairs.
We asked for Seafood for their choice and were served a Fish Ajwaini Tikka and a Jhinga Tandoori - both pretty good though not exceptional.
Lack of alcohol is definitely disappointing too.
The sad part was when we asked for the bill and offered them our Credit card. They came back first saying that our credit card did not work, and then on being provided a second one, their excuse was that their network was down and hence we had to pay by cash.
I've seen this excuse being given by a lot of establishments that try to hide their exact income by insisting on cash transactions. I give Sheesha the benefit of doubt, but this sure left a bad taste in the mouth especially since they managed to swipe our card after we made a scene.
Our bill for 3 starters (including Tandoori Chicken) and 2 drinks was Rs. 900/- which was very reasonable.
