Visited Three Wise Men..... on the 2nd day after opening
Its a bar .... quite relaxed and retro.
Drinks are reasonably priced, though they have a limited menu. E.g., no Martinis on the menu. Staff was helpful - asked the bartender to make one, but the end result was indifferent.
Food - we ordered 3 starters - were decent but not great.
Music - Retro ... which is nice for the early part of an evening. However, it was just a playlist without too much thought having gone into it. U2 with Madonna before and Michael Jackson after.... and followed by Metallica... read more -

Have been to Zenzi when it was the 'it' place..... and went again 2 weeks ago.
Simply awful - the outside seciton is gone, the inside is musty. Indifferent music, almost no waiter in sight and half the things in the menu dont exist (in Zensi, that is).

Visited Escobar a few weekends ago ..... one of the places which appeared in my attempt to 'find new places in Bandra'.
Ambience is quite nice - must confess we had 2 large hoardings close by, which meant Rahul mahajan's face could be seen close up (but that's really not the bar's fault).
We stayed from 10 pm to 1am - the crowd built up after 11pm - all very well turned out, and in my opinion trying a bit too hard.... but hey, it their life and night. A few minor celebs. Also, the starters we had were quite nice. The drinks were also good, though nothing spectacular. -

Must say I havent been to the place, but did order in.
So just on the food quality - average .... at best. Steamed Wantons were okay (though a slightly funny odour from the packing). The rest of the food (some fired rice, noodles and non-veg side dish) was really very ordinary - usual oily and spicy Indian-Chinese.

Went to Puro with some trepidation - after some terrible experiences with the restaraunts at that location (in retrospect there should be no connection, but that's the way a jilted mind works?)
Was quite pleased with the interiors - reasonably spacious and well laid out. And, the overall experience matched -
Reasonable drinks (we didnt try anything exotic, but the pricing seemed fair for the Indian wine we had - also nice wine glasses !).
