Atria Mall, Food Court, Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai

Excellent

Love Me Some SUSHI...

Sushi is getting hot in Mumbai right now, and I'm excited to discover that this fabulous cuisine has made some headway into the culinary scenes here...aside from the typical tuna rolls, you can actually get quality fresh sashimi here! The space is hidden in the posh Atria Mall on the top floor and the ambiance is outstanding. For true sushi lovers (as well as explorers), this place is not to miss! Get ready to drop major cash though.

Below Linkway Hotel, Nr. National College, Linking Road, Bandra (W), Mumbai

Excellent

Cozy Chic...

I can't believe this place is still here!! I visited here with friends a long time ago (we were drawn in with the pics of the gori's out front - looks like the owners passed their visual marketing exams with flying colors)...my friends and I were impressed with the decor and demeanor (hard to pull of chic and cozy simultaneously)...but what caught my eye (and lack of sobriety thereafter) was that the bar actually had Grey Goose!!
Let me tell you, finding Grey Goose in Mumbai a year ago was like finding a porn star in church...you just don't see it...
I hope this place is stil there in February when I venture back to the homeland...

KFC

Kenilworth Shopping Arcade, Corner Of 33 Road, Opposite McDonald's, Linking Road, Bandra (W), Mumbai

Good

Does the Colonel Bhangra??

Colonel Sanders has got jungle fever. KFC in India - hard to image, but it's true! The fried chicken here stays true the the recipes of the South in the US - crispy, juicy, and oh-so-bad for you. The only bad part about this place is that it might give you a serious cardiac arrest, but the chicken and hot biscuits are definitely worth the risk! I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, and I don't expect many positive reviews, but I love this fried shit!

Juhu Hotel, Juhu Tara Road, Juhu, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai

Average

WHAT'S IN A NAME?

Unless this place is named after a drink special, this has got to be one of the most unappealing names for a spot that I've ever come across...and mind you, I've visited a Punjabi restaurant in California named "wah jee wah"...

I do not mean to pass judgement simply in their name...any Burrpers out there been here before?

The Leela Kempinski, Sahar, Andheri (E), Mumbai

Good

Great Place to Start, Not to Stay...

Remember all, this place is a lounge, not a club...A great place to rendezvous with the crew and have a few, but make sure to have a game plan for departure thereafter. If you're in the mood for a less involved evening out, this may be your final destination, however, if you get down like my friends, you'll want more out of your evening...whatever floats your boat!
