Not very filling
Well I went to Crepeteria the other day and I ordered a crepe and a nutella milkshake..
the nutella milkshake was out of the world, but there was sooo much nutella and ice cream in it that i started to feel sick.. the crepes are kinda expensive at i think about 80 bucks a pop, and the quantity is also quite small...
it should be eaten as a starter or a light snack..
I personally dont know which crepe i ordered, but i think it was something to do with new york :s
Anyway its quite good, but yeah there is scope for improving

Butter Chicken is chicken and Tomato Puree
Well I went to the Moti Mahal Delux at Mega Mall...
I presumed that it was the same **excellent** moti mahal (only) at bandra west...
but i was taken in for a ride...
i ordered lachcha paratha and butter chicken for myself
the butter chicken was just tomato puree with bones
i specifically told them to give me boneless chicken, but to no avail..
the lachcha paratha was like dried up cold crap.. i dont know how to express my hatred for this restaurant which would come in my list of the top 10 restaurants!!!

Quite okay food, average ambiance
Well... I went for lunch to this place yesterday...
Basically, I ordered-
1. Veg. Korean Noodles
2. Two Lemon Iced Teas
3. Vegetables in Sapo Sauce
4. Crackling Spinach Chicken
5. Crispy Vegetables
6. Fruit Punch
7. Cold coffee with ice cream
8. Veg fried rice
9. Chicken in wok sauce...
The damage was only Rs 1328
Basically when we came in, the ambience was quite okay... They are trying to look very Mainland China and China Gate type, but they are not very close to it... The place is quite spread out and quiet.. They have discovery travel and living playing in the background.. We had to ask for chopsticks as they were not provided on the table and yes, they were quite old.... Places like Oriental Wok in The Club throw away the chopsticks after about 3-4 uses... These were stained yellow..
The service was **BAD**... They got the Iced Teas and the non-veg starter very fast, but my dad and I were eating the starters and my vegetarian mother and her sister were waiting for theirs... We were waiting for our drinks to come..
Now, let me comment on each food item we ordered--
1. The noodles were quite good, just like any other restaurant.
2. I did not have a chance to try out the iced tea, but my mother said that it was a little too sweet... Also, like every proper chinese restaurant gives their customers complementary chinese tea (boiling water with tea leaves... DAMN GOOD!), they did not give it to us. Also they did not have it on the menu..
They also did not give us Kim Chi which is also free in every restaurant.. Also, only after a little persuation did they give it to us.
3. Vegetables in sapo sauce were like the chef dumped some cauliflower, a little mushrooms etc. into a kind of sauce.. There was nothing great about it... Nevertheless it tasted quite average...
4. The crackling spinach chicken was *AWESOME*... It was like fried spinach with a little sugar on it with chicken.. It tasted as good as the spinach chicken in Oriental Wok.
5. The crispy vegetables were DISGUSTING... It was very very very hard and I couldn't chew it. I wear braces and I thought I would break them or something. I almost choked on one piece. We complained to the waiter about this and he sent us a replacement, which was not better... We then sent it back. One of the waiters told us that it would be charged. We told him that the cost is not the concern... In the end he did remove it from the bill...
6. I dont know about the fruit punch, but it looked quite normal.
7. The cold coffee was quite okay.. Even though it was for Rs 130 the helpings were measly. It had a little scoop of ice cream to go along with it... It was quite flat... It had no zest in it... I would have preferred if I would have had cold coffee with whipped cream and ice cream for about Rs 70!
8. The fried rice and chicken in wok sauce were good.. The chicken was awesome... They served it in a pan over a fire... Well I didnt describe it properly but they served it like fondue, only thing that instead of the pot it was a pan...
All in all, it was an average meal at an average restaurant.. I suggest you go to Jughead's or to some place in Galleria instead...
We werent too satisfied with the meal so we went to Nature's Basket near by and bought ourselves some London Dairy Ice Cream!!

Best Pastries in the Suburbs!
I keep coming to Hang Out...
When you step into the shop, you get a whiff or a tangling aroma of yummy chocolate cakes, mousses and a whole lot of snacks..
The pastries worth trying are Dutch Truffle and Ferrero Rocher...
They are simply divine... When I just put it into my mouth, it starts melting and I felt that I was enrobed in the best chocolate...
Anyway, this place is damn good whether u want to have a quick bite, or you want to order a cake, or if you want to eat some of their snacks or just buy some pastries for the family.
One thing I do not like, is their home delivery speed... They take atleast 1.5 hours for pastries...
You should order in advance..

Drastic Change!!!!
Hello everyone...
A while ago I had written a review of this place, with 5 stars and all that and said "Rocking!"
Even though this place belongs to my friend's dad, I have to give a non- biased review.
Just as we went in, we were asked to sit on a table meant for 4 (there were 6 of us)
We were all cramped up. It took about 20 minutes for a waiter to come and take my order (after my dad actually went to the manager).
Well the service sucked. To be frank. The waiter was indifferent. Only after I took the owners name did he actually buckle up. When the food came, he did not serve it to us. He just slammed it on the table and went away. Well I do understand that there is a lot of crowd, but you should atleast increase the staff!!!!
Anyway the food was not too great. The vegetarian dishes tasted the same, the coke was a bit flat (hardly any fizz). But the Butter Chicken was ***AWESOME***!! (Which is why
I gave this place 2*)
Anyway we were so frustrated that we just didnt order dessert.
Overall the food is not great but they treat you like shit. (Just because their head is swollen like a peacock, because they are extremely successful)
