    Ling's Pavilion Colaba  |  32 reviews

The food was great....nothing fancey....just good solid food...and it is so easy on the wallet
I found the staff really helpfull....and they actually made my dishes to my liking and offered to make 1/2 portions so I could try multiple dishes as I was eating alone....I will make Lings a regular place for me to dine!

Thai Pavilion Cuffe Parade  |  22 reviews

I always heard that this place was where one goes for authentic Thai food...and being a die hard fan of Thai... I literally have been calling every week to find out when it was opening.

The plus points: The "New Thai Pavillion" has a nice decor (kind of cliched though, almost looks like a cheaper and smaller version of China House), excellent service and I guess that is about it.

Lets get to the food...I always say if a Thai restaraunt can get the Som Tum (Papaya Salad), Tom Yum Soup, Pad Thai right then well it should be good. The Papaya Salad was nice but it comes with

    Tetsuma Colaba  |  11 reviews

Well almost.....the miso cod (or bass) is divine...just tell them not to over cook it, sashmi / sushi is almost at par with my favourite sushi joints in new york....skip the non japanese stuff (ie korean dishes-beef bulgogi or whatever) and well you won't be dissapointed, even their udon noodles are awesome....i have only sampled those dishes

their sunday brunch is good....and I once had their 500 bento box which was pretty good

I like this place....to drink/play or eat...as long as i stick to my dishes....but i do agree with the previous review it can be a little $$

China House Santacruz East  |  39 reviews

Well I said this place "rocks"

My review may be a little impartial

The first time I was there, a staff member dropped a drink on me, I then found glass in another drink, they forgot our appetizers and then seated us at a table and then made us get up....Sounds bad...it was actually horific. I went straight to the manager (angel) and complained in a very methodical manner and told her about my experience and laced it with a couple "buzz words" (operations, process, etc) and she sincerely apologized with a the meal being almost free and an endless supply of deserts.

Olive Bar & Kitchen Khar West  |  32 reviews

I am on the fence on olives.....the food is above average, almost hits the spot but it is a little pricey. I always ask myself if I lived in London or New York would I actually frequent Olives? The answer is probally not and the fact of the matter is that I reside in Mumbai (Not to sound like a brat, but I would eat at China House if it was in another city as it is the best chinese food, my point was comparing olives to other resteraunts in the same space) So whenever I am craving Italian / Meditranianish food I head over to Olives. I have been here over the years and have found a certain amount... read more
