Good
Saturday night dinner, and I was itching for wine - burrp told me this place had a wine bar, so thought I'd go for it. I've been to better abroad, but not bad for Mumbai. Ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir from New Zealand that the waiter recommended and it wasn't bad. We started with a Roasted Mushroom salad (with a balsamic reduction dressing) and the Corn and Cottage Cheese Cigars and both were excellent. I opted for the Polenta Cakes and Wild Mushrooms - the only issue I had with this dish was the forceful collaboration of Asian style stir fried vegetables that accompanied the polenta cake and wild mushrooms. Tip for the Monza chef: keep the stir fry out, go for something simpler (rosemary grilled potatoes?).
Aaziaanos is owned by the same people - tell your waiter to get you in for free after your meal - he shouldn't object.

Excellent
What a great place to hang out with friends at the bar and grab some quality drinks. Nothing desi that will get you sick. Of course, you'll have to drop some decent change here to get a good drink, but this is perhaps one of the only places in town that can mix a good Dirty Vodka Martini. They do move some tables later at night and make room for a DJ who's never that good, but the music isn't bad to lounge to. If you're looking for dancing, go down the street to Enigma or Vie.

Poor
This place just screams "sub-par" - it's not horrible, but it's so painfully below average, that there's never a real reason to go this place for much anything. I've tried the hummus, the panini sandwiches, and some pasta here and I can instantly think of better places to get all of that stuff. I must admit that this place still does a decent job attracting the young couples trying to escape the watchful eyes of the residential surroundings. Service is completely clueless. Ginger has got stiff competition from Myst, CCD, and Sigara, also young hip hangout spots. This is my last option on that popular Royal Classic strip of joints.
PS: Beware the cockroaches - have seen them on both occasions here.

Awful
I don't think I will be going back to Seven again.
Bad # 1: The drinks - all my friends and I got sick off of their shitty vodka. The bartenders can't mix a glass of water to save their lives.
Bad # 2: The music - the DJ did not know how to mix and basically had to wait till a particular song finished before playing the next one. Any feeble attempt at mixing sounded horrible.
Bad # 3 (the worst bad): The Crowd - my friend actually got approached by a girl wearing a wedding band, told him some sob story about how her husband travels too much, and tried to make a move on him. How shady - she was most likely of the pay-for-hire types...and that gave us a big clue about the entire crowd in general.
Seriously, don't go here even if you're desperate. I'd rate this place a 0 if I could.

Good
Not sure about the other Makhan Bhogs, but this one has a great assortment for Diwali sweets - if you're doing last minute diwali sweets shopping for friends and relatives, this is a good place to go. Kalakhand is absolute best.
