Ice-cream with a difference!
There are very few ice-cream joints as low-profile as K. Rustom. Check the photo...they don't even have a sign-board! Infact, unless someone points it out to you, I bet that you will definitely miss it.
For ages (atleast 20 years), these guys have been serving the bestest-ever home-made sandwich ice-cream. The great thing is that over the 20+ years, quality hasn't been compromised.
The place is extremely basic in decor - no sofas or chairs, no air-con, no ever-eager waiters, etc, - sharp contrast to the swanky ice-cream parlours that we see around us these days.
The flavours range reflects the attraction of this joint - my favourites include walnut-crunch & coffee and the range includes many exotic mix-n-matches. They serve all ice-creams in the form of a sandwich - two wafers in between the ice-cream slab.
Check it out..I'm sure you will enjoy it!

Excellent Business Lunch
With Lower Parel evolving as an important Business District, Noodle Bar can emerge as a place of choice for a business lunch.
My highpoints for this place...
i) Most people are here for business lunches; so, the atmosphere is not very loud
ii) Their choose-your-own-noodle-recipe makes the options unlimited...very good thingie if you have to go there frequently!
But its typically rather busy. So, if you are in a rush, book beforehand.

It's Rockin!
Nothing else describes this place better - IT ROCKS...literally and figuratively!
My highpoints of the place...
i) Awesome rock music...mix of classics n currents
ii) Awesome LIVE rock music...some bands are too good
iii) Great crowd...as someone has reviewed, crowd that wants to have a good time, not just be seen around
iv) The YMCA routine by the servers...I think its cool!
I don't think too much about the food and drinks, though the Veg Spring Rolls are awesome.
So, whenever u wanna rock...head for HRC!!!

Awesome South Indian stuff!
15 years! Yeah, that's how long I have been frequenting this place. My highpoints for this place...
i) Their IDLIS melt in the month
ii) Their DOSAS are piping hot and yummy
iii) The orange garlic chutney & the coconut sweet stuff they serve with their NEER DOSA are out of the world!
Though the ambience is very basic and seating is a problem at times, its all completely worth it once the food arrives!
