Vithal Kamat Restaurant Vasai (W) | 1 review
I had heard about the good food of vithal Kamat. I was hungry and it was raining. I searched the place because I was in the vicinity.
Though the ambiance was okay but the food was horrid. I have eaten better South Indian food at roadside. Coffee was bad with too much sugar and pav bhaji simply looked colored red.
I am never going back here. -

We entered and we felt at home. it was a small reunion of friends and we wanted to go some place special and cozy. We sat outdoors at Lemon Grass in mid afternoon. It was quiet pleasant. Though indoors is also neatly decorated with east Asian compliments.
We loved the mini meals variety for both non-veg and veg category. The quantity of food even for a mini meal is fabulous and can be shared among two. But if you have a big appetite don't bother sharing.

We wanted to try out some new joint and we were in front of Mia Cucina. Immediately the cafe attracted my attention. The food was very well made. I enjoyed the garlic bread with awesome butter and fabulous detailed cutlery. I would have really liked it if the staff was a little more smiling though they were courteous.
I enjoyed my spinach filled pasta with fine raspberry soda and cheese filled potato balls. My friend enjoyed squid with fantastic sauces and soft buttery chicken with sun dried tomatoes.

We were tired and wanted to eat good food in Vasai. We entered Celebrity we kept looking as all tables were full after few minutes one of the waiter noticed us and ushered us to the 1st Floor. There was lot of tables available here. The place is a bit cramped. We were asked to seat at the table for two. I felt lil uncomfortable as I dint have enough room to eat properly. so I suggested we sit at the table adjacent to us which was meant for 4 people. We made ourselves comfortable when the waiter came and rudely told us to vacate that table and sit where we were seating earlier.

They have all kinds of donuts and best part is that they are actually making them in front of you.
They have also introduced some spicy donuts which I have tried and a good concept as everyone thinks of a donuts as sweet.
They have good schemes for the number of Donuts you buy. They also recommend which are their specialty for the day. My own favorite are the rainbow sprinkled, blueberry, and chocolate devil Donuts. -
