Awful
And no I don't mean they dont serve it. Not too long ago, a few of us from the office decided to surprise a colleague for her birthday. We landed up in the suburbs and ambushed her outside KFC. For want of any other place to cool our heels, giver her gifts and cut her cake, we ducked into KFC.
So we pick out a couple of things to munch on and head to the first floor where we are told that we can't cut a cake there. We try to plead with the manager of the place (a very rude middle aged lady) and were very brusquely told that it can't be done. Now in all fairness to the place, I can understand that "outside" food is a no no but have a heart people... its a birthday and its not like we brought McDonalds happy meals with us!!! Apart from that, the fries were limp and the spicy chicken burger not so spicy... needless to say, its not a place I wan't to visit again.

Excellent
I discovered Waffles only yesterday when a friend suggested we try the place. She had never really been there herself but we were in the mood for dessert (at 6:00pm) so we traipsed into the place.
We ordered the "Classic Waffle" as well as a "Nuts About Waffles" and shared by swapping half our servings. I have to say, I've found true love. The portions were substantial to say the least... I made an early dinner of it. At Rs. 65 for the classic and Rs. 110 for the loaded waffle, my total bill came to about Rs. 259 along with a milkshake. Not too shabby I'd say. It's perfect if you're one of those romantics that likes to rise early for a hearty breakfast with the significant other or just generally want to take a detour from your power walk on Carter Road (to hell with diets).
Honestly, there are a few things i don't understand:
a) Why the place was empty save for one other table besides ours (possibly coz 6:00 pm was a strange hour to be having waffles)
b) What took so long for waffles as a breakfast meal to make a formal entry into India :)
My friend has been to the one at Infiniti Mall as well and says the savoury pasta waffles are pretty good too. Kudos to whoever thought this place up.
