Auriga Restobar, Mahalaxmi

3.6

Best Asian eatery

It's an Asian eatery with great setup, the feeling and vibe is excellent. Its has a motto to cater to every mood. For a quiet dinner, head to the fine dine restaurant on the first floor, For a night filled with drinks and dance - try the lounge on the ground floor for an outdoor dining experience sit in the cafe outside .They have some great cocktails which tasted classic. Creamy authentic green curry, Jasmine rice filed with flavors, the baby red snapper with cashews and red chilli - everything was lip smacking delicious. It's slightly on the expensive side.

Decent Italian food

A dimly-lit romantic and good-for-family place for decent Italian food. The ambiance clearly shows the thoughtfulness of the interior designer. The restaurant has a good quiet location and friendly staff. I have tried their Pizza, Pasta and Steak on different occasions and all three were scrumptious. We often order their specialty “Ratatouille.” The sauces were very good with the right mix of creamy and tangy and right amount of garnish. The menu is priced very averagely that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet. A very decent Italian restaurant.

Punjab Grill, Lower Parel

The authentic Punjabi food.

A perfect place for calm and chit-chatty evening. The classy crystal chandeliers and the water trickling over the walls makes up for a perfect fine-dining experience. The food has flavorful aromas and tastes of the grill especially the Kebabs.

The complimentary 'paan shots’ are surely not to be missed. I simply love this place. It's definitely a place to go when you're celebrating something special!

Must try: Veg Kurkuri, Dal Punjab Grill and Dahi ke Kabab.

All Stir Fry, The Gordon House Hotel, Colaba

Asian fine-dining

All Stir Fry is one of my favorite authentic Asian fine-dining. They have unlimited wok buffet option wherein you are free to choose your base noodles/rice, veggies for your dish from a wide variety and your choice of sausages. And the serve is unlimited. But however I always prefer for al-a-carte menu which has wide variety of soups , dimsums, appetizers – everything lips smackingly delicious. The decor and furnishing is modern. The service and staff is absolutely top-notch.

Yauatcha, Bandra Kurla Complex

3.8

The place is an absolute delight.

A top quality restaurant for a real fine dining experience. The ambiance is modern & minimal. The staff is warm, courteous and extremely well-versed with the menu and diner requirements. Yauatcha is a great option for a variety of Asian cuisine both in experimental and comfort food. The Dimsum basket and stir fry kung pao tofu were delicious and full of flavour – a must try. Desserts wise, the raspberry delice is their most famous dessert, and half the joy in it is visual. Their portions are more for two to share.

Best Kebabs ever

Lovely warm welcome with Thandai shot which simply tickles your taste buds. Food is beautiful on presentation and bountiful in flavour. Pesto kebes were perfectly cooked and perfect taste of authentic pesto. Seekh Kebabs were very creamy. The pork ribs were delicate and melted in my mouth and a sweet raita with rose spheres. This is just glimpse of the wide variety they have to offer. It's more of an experience than just a meal. The staff is extremely hospitable and humble. They will go out of their way to make sure u have a great experience each time.

The Bombay Canteen, Lower Parel

3.5

Old House theme

The Bombay Canteen looks like a dining room of an old Bandra house. The menu focuses on classic regional dishes from India with a lot of fusion.

The food is quite well played with. The banana leaf wrapped fish was cooked perfectly and the south Indian style tomato gravy was simply lip smacking.

The place could be fun if the music is more generic and lively. The waiters have a traditional style of roaming around and offering you just like a fast food corner bhaiya. The drinks served are brilliant especially the one with tamarind base.

Hoppipola, Powai

A great place to chill with your Buddies

Good place to visit in powai especially over the weekends. Nice ambience and amazing music played by dj. They have an outside spot and entry with a heavy revolving door.Well placed menu with good options and in budget. The tables were fun and interesting. There are card games to opt for and jenga blocks. A refreshing change from all the dark toned and poorly lit outlets. Really loved the menu presentation - innovative and fresh. We ordered paneerini, humming bread and margarita pizza. Everything was quite delicious.

Amazing place

Peppy interiors and amazing crowd. They have an indoor and outdoor seating.A typical place to hangout on the weekend. Relatively cheap booze. The table doubles up as a board too where u can scribble with chalks kept on the table. Lots of games like Jenga, Snakes and Ladders, etc for the group to enjoy. new things n new dishes in new style. They had an open kitchen and whatever was being made looked good. Cheesie Pizzness is a must try- thin crust, melting cheese and just the right amount of seasoning.

Pure Veg

Located exactly opposite the Phoenix mills , this placeis this small pure vegetarian eatery. The outdoor seating is really good for a quiet an peaceful dinner. The menu offers varieties of delicaies from across the globe, from Mongolia to Mexico. Most of the dishes are very saucy, flavorful and spicy. Overloaded with cheese Enchilada and Melanzana pizza are surely not to be missed. The lasagna and burrito bowl were yummy. I love the ambience and the music was good.
