Well Shiv Sagar is synonymous to Mumbai,...I dont think I have to write much of a review for this place....

This place serves good Veg food....specially south indian & Pav Bhaji are my favs....

It is located between Chandivali petrol pump & sakinaka...ahead of L&T...

Wont write that you should try Shiv sagar, as most of you must already have...

C G Road, Near Municipal Market, CG Road, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad

Excellent

Exceptional...

Talking of food in Ahmedabad & not talking of Choice is a Sin………

Well I have very fond and pleasant memories of my childhood in ahmedabad……I still remember the small shack called choice… was very close to Municipal market…very famous for the crispy gujju pizza….that was abt 15 yrs back when “king pizza” was a rage …..(still remember Choice used to sell it for 30 bucks!!!)

But now after so many years Choice still has maintained the standards and wherever in the world you go …going back to Ahmedabad definitely means atleast one visit to choice ….in fact I was so addicted to these Pizzas that I used to carry them on flights….

This is one place where I am sure I have tried everything on the menu…and the experience has been fab & always wanting for more…..

Honestly I was surprised not to see many reviews on burrp!!!!

Plot No. 9 - B, Kopari Village, Next to Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Andheri (E), Mumbai

Average

Chinese Dhaba....

It is located very close to Jalvayu vihar. Parking is def a prob if you are visiting before 9:30 pm after which you can park your vehicle on the road….

Interiors are pretty flashy …. And if you are looking for class, this is def not the place….

Ambiance: strictly ok ….with adjacent tables placed very closely……u ll have to try real hard not to over hear what others around you are talking….

My impression generally is that most of the starters served are pretty good…where as main course is very average…. Soups are average, nothing great….for starters have tried chilly chicken & sparkling spinach chicken…were damn good…however wok chicken , pot rice and other main course dishes were very average….for the kind of place it is, its slightly over priced…..

Overall, average Chinese fare…nowhere close to mainland china!!!!

2nd Floor Anant Enterprises, Palm Spring, Link Road, Above Croma, Malad (W), Mumbai

Good

Good but expensive....

One of the reasons I like this place is whenever I have visited I have always got a table without any waiting….cld be coz it serves only vegeterian food..

Nevertheless the experience has been good …Ordered a Pasta barbaresca (hope I got the spelling right!)…. Which was damn good….i observed that everybody was ordering the same pasta…..(could be courtesy burrp!!)..also had Nachos which were good though I like the cream center one better….and finally had a Tiramisu…which also good. Damage for two - 750 bucks …Service was decent.

Overall a good place to have veg Italian food but slightly steep!!!

My ratings
Food - 4/5
Ambiance – 4/5
Service – 4/5
VFM/Damages – 3/5

11 Tulloch Road, Apollo Bunder, Colaba, Mumbai

Good

VFM at its best,......

Visited Bagdadi finally after reading so much on Burrp!…. It is behind regal theater very close to Bade Miyan. I have visited Bade Miyan earlier and wondered why it was so crowded and Bagdadi was seldom….Anyways the approach to this restaurant is quite shady…you may also bump into a few roadside drunkards….

Got a table without any waiting as I had expected….and as suggested by fellow burrpers ordered Chilly Chicken fry with Khameri Rotis…Boy, these Rotis were huge, crisp & awesome….Chilly chicken was good though not out of this world….It was more of a chicken fry masala with a gravy full of chillies…I checked up with the waiter & he told me they even prepare it in a chinese way…,..Serving quantity was pretty good…

They serve a speacial preparation every day and on that particular day they had chicken Kashmiri, which we ordered with another Roti …..It was better than chicken chilly though a little oily…The waiter suggested that you may even try chicken handi, Bhuna & Kadai next time..

With a bottle of water & a soft drink the damage(for 2) was 160 Rs. Now where will you get that Value for money in Mumbai? …..
