the best punjabi and chinese food in the whole of
When I went to this place for the first time I thought it was only a take away joint, but later I found out that once I walk through a steep ladder there is a excellent dining area which has a lot of low sitting sofas and a antique watch, a flat screen tv and an AC to keep you cool, you just feel at home, I first tried their punjabi food and I was more than sattisfied. The owner named Vishal Shah then walked in and started talking to me about how he came up with this whole concept of punjabi food, he told me that he and his to be wife went all the way to punjab and hired the cooks because they wanted to have a authentic touch to their food, he was very nice, because while I was sitting and enjoying my meal he went and asked the other guest how did they like the food and their answer was same as mine - Excellent, now he has also started Chinese food which is as good as his Punjabi food, he told me that his chinese food was authentic because others make chinese food with only 2 sauces soya and schezwan but he makes his chinese food with about 6 to 7 different sauces. This place is really cool not only because of its food but also the service,or else how many places in Mumbai care if you really like the food or not, I will keep going to Koliwada. This place rocks.
