What abt the hygeine?
I had waited to get into Penne for days before I actually happened to walk in there a few days back... Maybe my expectations were way too high ... Honestly the place was not good...
We ordered for a thin crust Pizza with Veg toppings... (Rs325)... It was a chef's recommendation but was not my taste at all... Penne Arabiatta (Rs.375) was just ok and was served minus the bread... Nothing exceptionally good... so we ordered the garlic bread with cheese (Rs.250). The bread i would appreciate was fresh and that was the only part that i enjoyed... we were seated outdoors and just in the middle of the meal we saw a rat pass by under the table next to us... That was enough to kill our appetite and get out of that place as soon as we could... So a semi-meal (a meal without starters n desserts) for three and a meeting with a RAT would cost you around Rs.1000 at Penne.

This is the perfect place to hang around and hog... Quick service, good food and amazing Sizzling brownie to end your meal with...This is a great place for all kinda age groups ... Serves a variety of cuisines thus making it possible to enjoy with family as well as friends.... On an average a meal per head costs anywhere between Rs200-Rs.300 here...

Awesome cakes!!!
Hangout serves the best cakes and pastries that I have ever had... Be it fruit cakes, alcoholic cakes or regular flavored cakes... This place has it all and delicious ones... A regular chocolate walnut 1/2kg cake costs Rs.200. If you enjoy extremely sweet and creamy cakes though then this would not be the right place for you... Coz most of the cakes here are not too sweet... Hang out also sells hand made chocolate hampers.... These chocolates are worth a try too... They also deliver cakes in and around lokhandwala....

There could'nt have been a better ice-cream joint than this one!!!!!
Served in two sizes of cones this is simply the most exciting ice-cream experience.... Made your own choice of salads, sandwiches and pizzas now its time for ICE CREAMS..... You walk into this tastefully made lime green colored ice-cream joint and you get to choose from a variety of stuffings for ur ice cream.... Choose your basic flavour and add oreo cookies, kit kat, bounty, mars, gems, snickers, roasted almonds, candies and lots more... You can even mix the stuffings and try n invent ur own ice-creams here!!!!!
I guess a big scoop of ice-cream costs around Rs, 100 here... But trust me its all worth it!!!!!

GOOD NEWS!!!!! for all those people working in and around SEEPZ... It was high time something new opened up in this area... Saffron Spice is a nice restaurant which serves Indian food.. I would say its the best of all in this locality.. With nice interiors and vallet parking it makes your meal more enjoyable... I was there a few days back for lunch and to my surprise it was not all that crowded... PEOPLE PLEASE TRY THIS PLACE!!! For 5 of us we paid Rs.1300 (excluding liquor), which is not bad at all!!! Guess we ordered for 2 starters , 3 sabzis and breads for all.. The portions were big and the service was quick... the staff is pleasant too... :)
