I just landed there yesterday to just sample some kababs and biriyani since that is what Kareem's known for.We ordered a Chicken soup( a tad salty),Paneer Afghani (amazingly good) Lebanese Tikka (awesome melt in the mouth chicken) and Biriyani. All in all the taste of starters and soup was good. But the biriyani was a shocker because I have high expectations from Kareems when it comes to Biryani. It was bland..I am not a spicy food freak but this was way too bland..no salt..not aromatic...as if it wasnt saffron only colour...The service was prompt but some small details need to be taken care of (refil... read more
I visited this restaurant for lunch on a weekday when it was just opening for the day. When I viewed the menu card, the prices were on the higher side.I ordered a soup for the day which was mushroom and when ordered with starters it would cost Rs 80 for a cup.I really liked this concept which makes it easy to just order a soup enough to satisfy the urge of having one where the portion is not very large. The soup was fresh and creamy with the right consistency and the ingredients used were fresh too.It was subtly spiced as continental food should be...Hats off to the chef..
Nerul is turning out to be the happening place.Just had the chance to visit Royal Rasoi which is famous for its Mallu food.I had taken a cousin on his visit from US.The menu is ecclectic as in it has Mallu,Punjabi,Chinese,Thai and Continental food on offer but there is not much variety or should I say safe bets.. I enquired a few items and they were not available even on Wednesday.I had a Thai soup which was way spicy for my taste.Next I ordered pasta and sizzlers and dessert. There was nothing special about the taste but it was totally value for money.I have never had continental food at those... read more
I had a voucher for Mashaal and hence decided to visit it,this being my second visit.I live very close to Mashaal and find the food very tasty.I had a voucher which enabled me Rs 1000 worth food for just Rs 399.Since prior appointment was necessary,I made a reservation and they informed me that there was no need for the same for 3 people. The ambience is a fine-dine restaruarant ambience, ideal for families or big groups. The place also has an open air seating space but its avoidable in summers. We ordered for 2 soups:Tomato and Sweet Corn veg.,one starter; Murg Banjaara, Egg Biryani... read more
We were just looking for a little bite on Monday night and I just decided to try out this place.Normally,we order pizzas from Smoking Joe's or Dominos for the taste.Being a Monday,we wanted to have some vegetarian sandwiches, hence we chose this place as they serve sandwiches. My husband ordered a veg burger and a Mirinda to go along with it whereas I ordered a Deluxe Margherita. The taste was amazing although mind you it is Indianised. However there is use of oregano and cheese in good measure. We loved every bit of what we ordered. The veg burger was simply delicious.I just thought about... read more
