Good
It is ostentatious, if you actually GO to the restaurant, but i was luckier. i got to eat the food without the atmosphere.
Hookah places, i dont like, because pseudo hippies seem to always show up at them and they are a crowd that is not to my liking.
and since i am "physically challanged" i opted out of climbing the rather awkwardly steep ladder to the actual restaurant which is on the first floor. The Maitre d' was accomodating enough to allow us to sit at their sister concern, Howrah, which is on the ground floor, and let us order food from the main restaurant.
For starters, we had Malai Paneer Seekhs and Honey Chilly Chicken Dry
The Main Course was of American Chopsuey and Singapore Fried Rice with Manchurian Chicken Chilly
ok so you are saying what the f* he is going to a Moghlai restaurant to eat frikkin chinese!
well here the thing,
i hate moghlai food.
But having said that, this was the best damn Indian Chinese i have ever ever had
The American Chopsuey was just perfect. The Wings were delicious, although not really honey, but the Jaiphal Star Anise substitute that Indo-Chinese usually uses, but it was really well made. and very tasty
all in all, an excellent meal, my wife and i were highly impressed. and the damage was only Rs. 875 for the entire meal acompanied with four Cokes.

Good
Zam Zam is an atypical Muslim Bakery, overshadowed by the greater and more notorios Suleman Usmaan Bakery right next to it, but one thing that sets it apart is its ice cream.
The brand name is SnowBite, and it is one of the best ice creams i have ever tasted. It is calorific goodness that puts to shame all those proccessed puffs of flavoured air that are called ice cream.
It is almost as close to an Indian version of a good Italian Gellato as you can get,
maybe better.

Average
There is nothing that stands out for this restaurant as distinguishing it from the oodles of similar Udipi restaurants. It is truly average, the food is good, all vegetarian, multi-cuisine (well as "multi" as an Udipi restaurant can get) and clean.
Service is prompt, though it is for the working class people, the consistency in the quality and service has been maintained. The Mysole Masala Dosa is truly awesome, Everything on the menu is palatable, but nothing is outstanding. A good place to grab a quick tie-me-over bite to eat which wont burn a hole in your wallet.

Awful
there should really be negative stars.
This is basically a dhaba in Nagdevi that has gotten famous for some reason for its Barahandi and Paya and Pichota Haleems et al during the month of Ramadaan.
People clamour from the far reaches of Mumbai's suburbia to
have a taste of this oh so famous plate of Barahandi. which is in essence a concoction of barley, wheat, mutton stock, a shit load of corn flour, a lot of spices, flavourings, and lamb parts.
They put out cots and tables for the customers to sit on plastic chairs at the most, right next to an overflowing gutter, and a shallow plate of this overhyped soup costs a whopping 45 rupees, portions of which are not even enough for a child.
Now i have reviewed some seedy joints previously, the thing is for me the food is all that matters. Here however, its is just a concocted cornflour soup with so much garam masala that your mouth will not be able to distinguish any tastes henceforth. It was truly a jehadi assault on my delicate palate.

Awful
It's a bird, it's a plane, It's its Superman? no. not even close. another thing its NOT is McDonalds.
well at least not the one i know of. The all mighty culture eradicating golden arches of the US which i have grown to love and hate at the same time, this one is so not.
My fellow ABCDs will agree with me that the Indian version of MickeyD's is so far ethnicized that it really isn't MickeyD's at all.
I am disappointed that such a gigantic global corporation llike McDonalds cannot keep its menu homogenized and similar in all the cultures it pollutes.
Aside from that, its not even worth wasting your money to try anything from here, every time i had the fries, they seemed stale to me, the "burgers" were a pathetic excuse for "food". i chose to let it remain just a fantasy location for assuaging your temper tantrum throwing kiddies.
