Good food. Great prices
I've been to this place a few times now. I've had most of the kebabs and the fish and its all been good. The tandoori chicken was very good as was the pomfret. The Reshmi kebab wasn't very good but decent. Overall I was pretty satisfied with the food.
I haven't tried anything from the Chinese section of the menu yet. Doesn't feel right eating chinese in a place that clearly has the ambience of a tandoori joint.
The decor is nice. The ethnic look of the place keeps you comfortable.
But the best part about this place is when its time to pay the bill. Its absolutely dirt cheap compared to most of the restaurants these days. Dinner for two without drinks was well within 400 bucks.
That alone is worth giving this place a good rating. Affordable without having to compromise on quality is what I like best about this place. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Great Salad menu
Just Around The Corner is a rather well thought out restaurant. Soups-Salads-Sandwiches is the name of the game.
For all you weight watchers and healthy eaters out there, this is a rather decent alternative. I personally like the assortment of salads. Theres a huge variety by our standards. Pastas, pickled veggies, cured meats, eggs in addition to the usual veggies are just some of the varieties of salads on offer. Add to that a number of dressings and you have a complete Salad bar. Skip the Mayo soaked veggies and eggs if you want to make the meal healthier.
Next up sandwiches - Excellent. You can choose between a French style baguette or a big slice of traditional bread. Both are good value. The choice of fillings is vast.
Lastly, soups - Not that great. Avoid it. They have the usual Cream of mushroom, chicken and vegetable soup. All three are bland.
Also, ensure that you say NO to whatever drink they offer at the cash counter. The ice tea and lemonade were horrendous. It just takes the shine of an otherwise nice establishment.
So yeah, overall, good place. I like the decor. Unique pop-art on the walls and tables are entertaining. American but not cheesy.
If you're looking for a snack at that awkward 4-5 PM, head over to Just Around the Corner.
Cost - 300 for a couple approx. (A big salad and a sandwich)

Love it!
I love this place. Situated right next to Crepe Station, this kebab joint is perfect in terms of location and food.
I find myself stopping by every time i'm in the area. I've had a lot of kebabs around the city and what Kareems has to offer is some of the best. Every kebab I've tried was juicy and succulent.
The seating area is what you expect. Minimal but mostly sufficient. The cost is higher than a Bade Miya's but appropriate with the location I feel. The quantity of food is more than you expect.
So if you're driving down carters and feel the need for some good skewered meat, do drop by at Kareems. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This place is everything you expect from Mocha. I personally prefer the Bandra Mocha but that should not take away anything from this branch.
My only gripe is the crowd. Since there are quite a few colleges nearby, you'll usually see a whole bunch of annoying, acne ridden teens bunking class and occupying space without any signs of leaving. These wannabe, cell phone wielding crowd usually hangs out in the outer open area. Inside though, its a little better.
As you can see, apart from the crowd I have no complaints.
Just make sure you have time on your hands since you'll most probably have to wait a while before you can make yourselves comfortable.

I love this place. I've been trying to eat healthy in recent times but every time I pass Marine drive this place makes my taste buds tingle. I've not eaten better Pizza in mumbai.
Not only is the food great, the fact that you've overlooking the Queens necklace makes the experience cater to all your senses.
This place is ideal for a night out with your friends.
(I guess i'm a little partial since I met my girlfriend there.. hehe.)
Anyway, you'll have a blast as well. I guarantee it.
PS: Follow this up by a nice drive along Marine drive.
