How to tell if you are a valentine junkie

You know you’re a Valentine’s Day addict if

1. You started planning for Valentine’s Day on the 2nd of January.
   
2. You have the phone numbers for the florist, chocolatier and gift shop on speed dial.
   
3. You know what the traditional Valentine’s Day gifts are in at least 20 different cultures.
   
4. You’ve already made a booking in at least 3 of the most romantic restaurants in the city. Now you just need to find a date.
   
5. Your ringtone for the Valentine Week is going to be Taylor Swift’s Love Story, and the caller tune is a toss up between Love Game by Lady GaGa and Ne-Yo’s One In A Million.
   
6. You’ve got special underwear for the occasion: silk boxers/ lingerie with little hearts printed on it.
   
7. You don’t understand why more people don’t start wishing everyone Happy Valentine’s Week from the 7th of February.
   
8. To get you in the right frame for the festivities you’ve already made a movie playlist starting with, Titanic moving on to Romeo + Juliet, You’ve Got Mail, Love Actually, Like Water for Chocolate, Made of Honor and ending with Ghost.
   
9. You’ve never understood why Valentine’s Day is not a compulsory National Holiday.
   
10. Before printing their Valentine’s Day cards Archie’s and Hallmark send you the designs for approval.
